The cameras have gone down on Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18. Soon, we all bear witness to these producers’ efforts. From what Heather Dubrow’s already sharing online, this season will be bringing us all some “crazy” drama. This tracks, because a lot has happened since RHOC Season 17 came to a close.

For starters, Shannon Beador’s ex John Janssen is suing her, and he’s also now dating Alexis Bellino. Not shockingly, Alexis is joining the cast in Season 18. Hopefully, Shannon’s getting her nine lemons ready to help her deal with this. Also, she and Tamra Judge had a falling out, so overall, Shannon’s going to have a bumpy ride in the OC.

Apparently, though, she might not be the only one that’s facing a rough season ahead. Let’s listen to Heather’s take on this matter now.

Heather has some words

Over on TikTok, Heather shared a brief blip about her upcoming season of RHOC. “All I can say is, we were done filming a few weeks ago, and usually after we’re done filming, we have to do like, you know the confessionals that we do? We usually have to finish those up.”

She then added that “the show will start airing, and then you do press, and then you do the reunion, the whole thing.” Now, that’s what goes on in a typical season. However, Heather then notes that “some [additional] things happened” post-filming. Whatever went down, “it was so crazy that they picked the camera back up,” so that this cast could resume filming just “last weekend.”

While Heather doesn’t give any of their storylines away, she does stress that “So much happened this season.” Therefore, she’s wondering “if some things are gonna end up not being shown, because too much happened. It was too crazy.”

So many words, but so few details. Well done, Heather. That said, we’re here for you and already know filming resumed due to Jennifer Pendranti’s boyfriend Ryan having some… issues in the world of baseball. Stay tuned.

The Real Housewives of Orange County is streaming on Peacock, with Season 18’s expected air date arriving in late 2024.
