'RHOC' Recap: Kelly Dodd Hopes To Find Peace With Vicki Gunvalson After Anger Management

"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Kelly Dodd took one anger management class and now she feels ready to conquer Vicki Gunvalson's engagement party. Bravo fans watched as the 44-year-old starlet sat down with licensed marriage and family therapist Mike Dow and her co-star Emily Simpson on the beach for their first session following their explosive Key West, Florida trip. After calling Vicki "f------ pig" in the last episode, Kelly confided in Emily that she was unhappy with the way she handled herself in the moment, the duo decided to do joint therapy. Simpson stated she was worried that her daughter was starting to pick up her explosive traits.

Tres Amigas Not Supportive

When the Tres Amigas -- Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, and Vicki Gunvalson -- learn that Kelly Dodd is seeking help in therapy, they have different reactions. Judge joked about "shock treatment," while Gunvalson opted for a more intense cure, like an "exorcism." Stating that "she's possessed with the devil," Gunvalson filled in newcomer Braunwyn Windham-Burke on their longstanding feud, which began after Vicki set up Kelly's ex-husband, Michael, with a friend after their breakup. The last few minutes of Tuesday's episode show Kelly Dodd and Emily Simpson on the beach with the therapist. When asked what their goal was both "RHOC" stars stated they wanted to work on their anger and how they talk to specific people. Emily was focused on the relationship with her husband, Shane Simpson, and Kelly's was Vicki.

Moving Forward To Finale!

Kelly Dodd stated her sharp tongue may have come from her mother, who she recently reconciled with. Admitting she had a "really good" childhood, she added, "But my mom is combative, and she's sharp with her tongue," she added, "I think that's where I learn it from. I feel like, if you're gonna fight with me, it's game on." Mike then asked both women to name "that person or these people who are difficult to love." Obviously, Kelly Dodd's person was Vicki Gunvalson. She also mentioned her brother, Eric, and her ex too. Admitting that her initial reaction is to "punch [Vicki] in the face," Mike ended up giving her the tools to help her combat her issues with the OG member of the OC. The episode ends by teasing the season finale which centers around Vicki Gunvalson's engagement party to Steve Lodge, a celebration that Kelly Dodd actually shows up to. In the preview for next week, Dodd is seen getting into a heated argument with Shannon Beador at the event and Tamra Judge is captured storming out of the party in tears. The "RHOC" finale is set to have plenty of drama and fights, but fans are really geared up for the first part of the season 14 reunion which airs on December 18. "The Real Housewives of Orange County" is on Bravo every Tuesday at 9 PM PT.
