'RHOBH' Star Erika Jayne To Be Dragged Into Court Over Husband’s $6 Million Debt

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne is close to be dragged to court over $6 million her husband Thomas Girardi owes.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the lender, Law Finance Group, who are owed the millions from Girardi, have rushed back to court in the case.

Law Finance is demanding the judge order Erika Jayne to appear in court with her financial records including bank statements and sources of income, in an attempt to collect on the debt owed to them.

The lender explains they want to “examine Erika Jayne aka Erika Girardi, whom I have reason to believe is the spouse of Judgment Debtor Thomas V. Girardi.”

They believe Erika is “currently in possession of personal property individually owned by the Judgment Debtor or jointly owned by Erika” and Girardi. They also want to grill her about the “whereabouts of personal property” and real property owned by her husband.

They are demanding Erika show up to court on November 6. The judge has yet to rule.

Recently, a judge found Girardi in breach of a settlement deal with Law Finance Group.

Girardi had agreed to pay back a total of $16 million but only paid $10 million by the deadline. The judge then slapped him with a judgment over the remaining $6 million owed. Law Finance is trying to collect on the millions owed.

Earlier this year, Girardi and his law firm, Girardi Keese were sued by a Law Finance Group. The company claims they loaned Girardi a total of $15 million to fund the operations of his firm.

They alleged in the suit that they believed the money was used “to maintain Mr. Girardi’s lavish lifestyle.”

The lender claimed Girardi breached a repayment plan they agreed to in August 2018. The deal was for him to make monthly payments, along with a $1 million payment by the end of October, and $5 million by January 1.

The suit claimed Girardi originally agreed to use the Pasadena home he lives in with Erika Jayne as collateral in case he defaulted, the same home featured on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

Law Finance Group said Girardi has only made “hollow promises” to repay and hasn’t paid a dime. They sued for the full $15,151,989 owed and other damages.

Girardi strongly disputed the allegations in the lawsuit and told The Blast, “The truth of the matter is this. I have not taken one penny from the law firm in the past three years. I have devoted everything to assist in the cases that we have here. Further, the money that was borrowed, we agreed to repay in approximately two weeks before the lawsuit. It is slanderous that the money was for my ‘lifestyle’ … every penny went for costs in cases that the firm is handling.”

Erika and her husband were recently hit with a separate $3 million lawsuit over an alleged unpaid loan taken out by Girardi.

The suit accuses Girardi of “re-directed all or part of the proceeds” to “himself and his wife in order to sustain their lavish lifestyle and maintain their glamorous public image.”

Erika has moved to keep the lawsuit out of the public eye. Both cases are ongoing.

Erika isn't the only "RHOBH" star with financial troubles. Her co-star Dorit Kemsley had her bank account frozen stemming from a lawsuit filed against her husband PK.
