Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's misunderstandings are causing them to butt heads during a tough time in their marriage.

On Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle, 54, admitted that she felt disconnected from her husband Mauricio, 53, as they got ready to host their daughter Portia’s 15th birthday dinner.

"We've always been on the same page and in sync, and right now it just does not feel like we are in sync,” the Halloween Ends actress told cameras, before revealing how Mauricio’s work had been affecting their quality time.

“It feels like lately that he has [been] consumed with The Agency and his work. He's running this big company and opening all over the world. I think that he's poured his heart and soul into The Agency,” she added. “So, it’s the other woman.”

The family began to arrive and take their seats around the table. As the dinner progressed, Kyle’s mother-in-law, Estella, cornered her to ask about recent headlines surrounding the status of their marriage.

“Everything is okay with you and Mauricio, right?” she asked, concerned. “Every time I open Google, there was something about you guys separating, divorcing, whatever. It got to a point in which I called Mauricio and I sent him a text and I said, ‘Is everything okay?'"

Kyle explained that the rumors circulating about their marriage began when she was spotted without her wedding ring.

“I'm very taken aback that my mother-in-law is asking me this right now, tonight,” she said in a confessional. “Yes, Mo and I have been having a hard time, but the picture of me without my ring has nothing to do with that. I've still been wearing a wedding band. So why are people saying that because of one time when I was lifting weights before that?”

Still reeling from Estella’s confrontation, Kyle ran into Mauricio in the kitchen and admitted she didn’t “feel relaxed at all.” The real estate mogul agreed and then pointed out a stack of mail on the counter, and claimed the sight of it was “embarrassing” with company over.

The RHOBH mainstay didn’t take kindly to the observation and walked out of the room, joining the rest of the family at the dinner table.

Before Portia opened her birthday gifts, Kyle and Mauricio’s other daughter, Alexia, pointed out her sister Farrah’s tattoo. Farrah lifted her wrist and claimed the ink was temporary, as Kyle announced to the table, “She’s testing it out, unlike me.”

Mauricio’s eyes bugged out of his head at the revelation, and he quietly whispered to Kyle that he’s kept their respective tattoos a secret from his parents.

After the dinner, Kyle pulled her in-laws aside and shared that she had a couple tattoos. To her surprise, Estella didn’t mind her ink and asked her if her tattoos were dedicated to Mauricio.

“No,” she replied. “That’s a jinx anyway. I don’t believe in that.”

When Estella revealed she knew of their daughter’s tattoos, Kyle shared that Mauricio was also the proud owner of a tattoo. After sensing her mother-in-law's shocked reaction, Kyle quickly backtracked, saying, “Maybe he does? I don’t know."

Later, as Mauricio entered the kitchen to help his daughter light her birthday candles, Kyle revealed with a guilty look on her face, “I told your mom you had a tattoo.”

“What is wrong with you?” he asked with a stern look on his face as Kyle attempted to defend herself and claim his mother “didn’t care.”

The Buying Beverly Hills star questioned why she felt the need to disclose the news to his parents. “What is up with that?” he said, before storming out of the room.

“Why did I open my mouth?” Kyle asked herself while speaking to cameras. “I thought, 'Oh, okay, it'd be funny in the moment, wait to see her reaction.' But now his reaction? I really wish I had not said anything.”

Feeling the sting of being in the doghouse, Kyle later approached Mauricio at the dinner table, claiming there was ambiguity in her confession to his mother. The broker pushed her apologies to the side and shut down the conversation altogether, saying, “I don’t want to talk about it right now.”

As Kyle walked away from a frustrated Mauricio, she told the cameras, "Oh, this is what people talk about when they go through a rough time. Well, here we are."
