'RHOA' Star Kenya Moore Is Speaking Out After Split With Marc Daly

When Kenya Moore joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta back in 2012 she became a much needed piece of the puzzle for the show's success. She made tons of memorable comments about her costars, as well as got dragged (sometimes literally) by fellow members of the cast who found it very difficult to get along with her. Eventually, after six seasons she decided to walk away from the show to focus on her lifelong dreams of becoming a wife and mother.

Many will remember during Moore's first years of RHOA she stayed locked in an ongoing war of words with her costar Phaedra Parks, who at the time was married to Apollo Nida. It was allegedly rumored that Moore exhibited very un-ladylike behavior whenever she was around Nida and Parks, which lead to a heavy tension that continued during Parks' entire time on the show. The two even had an epic showdown during a reunion episode where Parks finally lit into Moore with some very acidic words.

Ironically Parks was eventually kicked off of the show after spreading lies about cast member Kandi Burruss, adding a bit of truth to all of the accusations Moore had been discussing for years. However, deep inside Moore was beginning to get a little bored with the constant bickering of reality television so she made the tough decision to leave the show to focus on other things going on in her life. And one of those things was successful businessman Marc Daly.

When the two met in 2017 they quickly fell head over heels for one another. Soon after Moore and Daly welcomed their precious daughter Brooklyn to the world, but unfortunately the magic slipped away and the two announced their plans for divorce. Moore, who has since returned to RHOA, is still trying to make sense of everything and in an exclusive interview with Hollywood Life during BravoCon in NYC Moore revealed that it's still hard dealing with the aftermath of their breakup.

I don’t think it’s hit me yet that we’re not actually together,” Kenya told HollywoodLife during the first annual BravoCon in New York City on Nov. 15. “I have a lot going on that I didn’t necessarily want to, [and] it’s hard when you’re going through a hard time and you don’t want to expose that. But living your truth and you own it and based on my experience on the show, you have to be authentic. And so, it’s hard to watch some things, you know.

Though she didn't go into detail as to why their marriage ended she did admit that when they came together to celebrate their daughter's first birthday they kept it cordial. And according to Moore Brooklyn is the most important person that she needs to tend to.

“I don’t know,” Kenya says when asked if she would reconcile with Marc. “It’s just hard to tell. We’re just taking one day at a time. I have a daughter now, so I really don’t have time for nonsense so that’s the way I am with everything.”

Sounds like the two of them know what it takes to remain mature after a breakup involving children.
