'RHOA' Star Kandi Burruss & Todd Tucker Welcome 2nd Child Via Surrogate
Looks like another Georgia peach has been added to the "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" cast! Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, welcomed their second child together via surrogate, and it's a girl! The news was revealed in a mass text sent out to her biggest fans who signed up to receive alerts on updates regarding the housewife's life. Along with the text, they received a photo giving them the first glimpse of the couple's adorable little girl. The announcement also revealed the baby's unique name.

Meet Blaze!
According to the announcement, Blaze Tucker was born on Friday around 7 PM and weighed a healthy 8 lbs. “She’s here! Blaze Tucker born at 6:54 pm on 11-22-19 weighing 8lbs 0 1 oz. I’m so thankful to add another healthy, beautiful, baby girl to the family!” the text message read. Along with it, showed a sweet photo of the baby's hand holding onto one of her parent's finger. The photo also revealed Blaze Tucker has a full set of dark-colored hair and the newborn was still sporting her hospital bracelet. At the time of this post, neither Kandi or Todd has posted anything on social media, but the "RHOA" star told our friends at The Shade Room, "We're so in love!"
Surrogacy Was 'Strange'
Bravo fans have been anxiously awaiting for Kandi and Todd's newest addition and have watched her struggle with the idea of surrogacy this season. She recently confessed to People that it was "strange" because she couldn't get excited over things like the baby kicking because she wasn't experiencing it. “I just feel like this whole situation is strange. I don’t get to be excited about the first kick. I don’t get to be excited about, ‘Oh now my baby bump is showing.’ I don’t get to be excited even about my boobs filling up with milk," Kandi stated. “You have this guilt [and] sadness, so it’s a joyous, yet interesting experience.”
This marks baby #2 for Kandi and Todd together. They also share one son, Ace, who is 3 years old. They also have two children from previous relationships, so together their family has now grown to 6 members including Kandi's 16-year-old daughter and Todd's 22-year-old daughter.
They Were Expecting Twins Initially
Weeks ago, Kandi Burruss revealed the sad news that her surrogate had been pregnant with twins but lost one. "We actually was supposed to be having twins, and then one of them didn’t continue. I was sad at first, but then I just had to be grateful that the one made it," the 'RHOA' star told People. Kandi Burruss, who carried their son Ace to full term, had a high risk-pregnancy and fans watched as the couple began talking potential surrogacy for their next child on the Bravo show's season 11. Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker revealed they were expecting their second child together just months ago and the congratulations from co-stars instantly began pouring in. Congrats to the happy couple on their healthy baby girl! Hopefully, she makes an appearance on "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" next season!
