Before she tied the knot last fall, Cynthia Bailey debated whether or not to have an important person at her wedding: her father.

In PEOPLE's exclusive sneak peek at Sunday's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Cynthia sits down with her mother Barbara Ford Morris, sister Malorie Bailey-Massie and daughter Noelle Robinson, and the three discuss whether or not to invite the RHOA star's father to her and then-fiancé Mike Hill's wedding.

During their sit-down chat, Cynthia, 53, first apologizes to her mother, who had appeared in costar Kenya Moore's PSA about domestic violence and was unaware that it would be be televised.

"I did not know that when you agreed to go over to do [it] that you didn't know what a PSA was, you didn't see the cameras, and that it was going to be on TV," Cynthia tells her mom.

"I would have never in a million years put you in that position — that is hurtful and offensive to me," Cynthia adds. "And I am sorry if you didn't understand and it came on and you feel how you feel. I apologize."

After Barbara thanks her for apologizing, Cynthia brings up the topic of her father. "Do you want me not to invite him?" she asks.

Though Barbara tells her daughter that she doesn't care if her ex is invited, Noelle reminds Cynthia of a contradictory comment Barbara had previously made.

"She just said that she was going to put her mask over her eyes, so that obviously means that she would prefer for him not to be there," Noelle tells Cynthia, adding, "The thing is, I don't really see him."

While Noelle says she's only seen her grandfather once in her life, she points out that she doesn't have to even "think about how many times I've seen [Granny]," going on to advise her mom to prioritize Barbara's feelings. "She always puts every single one of us first, so why not put her first this one time?"

In a confessional, Cynthia admits that she feels "guilty" that her mother got pregnant with her — and because of that, she never wants to "disappoint" Barbara.

"As their firstborn, I feel responsible for a lot of the issues that my parents have," says Cynthia.

"I do feel guilty that she got pregnant with me because I know my mom is beautiful, smart. I mean, she could've been a model," she adds. "She could've done anything with her life, but she got pregnant with me. So I just always never want to disappoint her."
