Rey Fenix was unable to compete as advertised.
AEW star Rey Fenix was set to compete at House of Glory’s Cinco de Mayo event on May 5. He was slated to face Penta El Zero Miedo. However, Penta came out and announced that Rey Fenix was not medically cleared to compete. Laredo Kid replaced him in the bout.

Further details about the injury are unclear at this time.
Fenix only recently returned to the ring. He had been sidelined since October, but he made his in-ring return on the April 27 episode of AEW Collision. There, he defeated The Beast Mortos. Fenix is a former AEW International Champion, World Tag Team Champion, and Trios Champion.
