A Resurfaced Clip of Taylor Swift Shows Exactly Why Travis Kelce Is the Perfect Match for Her

While Joe Alwyn had fans rooting for him and Taylor Swift‘s relationship during their years together, there’s nothing quite like hindsight to show who’s really meant for each other. In a newly resurfaced clip of Swift, for example, she made her preferences for dating in the limelight crystal clear.
In the clip, which has over 140,000 likes on TikTok, Swift is answering questions at Alan Carr: Chatty Man in 2012. “How hard is it to keep your private life private because there are paps everywhere, aren’t they?” Carr asked Swift.

The “Lover” singer, for her part, opened up to the host. “It all depends on who you’re with,” she said. “If they have a serious issue with it, then you, I guess, hide or whatever. But I don’t really like that.”
As Swift answers, pictures and videos of Swift and Alwyn hiding their faces and running from the paparazzi can be seen. “It makes me feel like I’m running from the law or something,” Swift continued. “I don’t want to feel like I’m like a fugitive. Like, ‘Oh, my God, we’re having a relationship. Better put on a mask and stuff.'”
Instead, Swift doesn’t want to feel any different or limited because of her fame. “I’d just rather live my life,” she said. “If you can be in a relationship and have it seem normal that would be good.”
And, as many fans of Swift’s new boyfriend Travis Kelce can attest to, the Kansas City Chiefs star hasn’t shied away from camera flashes. Instead, the two are always seen holding hands, smiling and walking together throughout it all. Plus, these two were all over each other after his Super Bowl win in February.
The video then cuts to Kelce talking about his newfound fame. “It comes with it,” he said in a clip in a press conference. “You got a lot of people who care about Taylor and for good reason.”
“Just gotta keep living and learning and enjoying the moments,” he continued.
Looks like these two have really met their match!
