What restaurants opened, closed in Greater Akron in 2023? Here's the list

It's been a busy year for Akron-area restaurants, with dozens of new openings enriching the local foodie scene in 2023. Choices run the gamut from a ramen and bao bar, cafes and a new brewery to finer dining with craft cocktails downtown and beyond. Along with the new and exciting, some businesses — both newer and old — closed in greater Akron this year. Like any year, it's out with the old and in with the new. Here's a sampling of restaurant openings and closings in the Akron area for 2023.
