Restaurants: 2 new Naples pizzerias, 2 closures, 5 deals, National Rosé Month

This week, we’ve got news on two new pizzerias and a closed pizzeria. If you're a Seinfeld fan and remember "The Opposite" episode (my all-time favorite and officially ranked the second best-ever by Gamerant), George was up after switching from tuna on toast to chicken salad on rye; Elaine was George after eating Jujyfruits.

And Jerry? Even Steven. This week's news is like that.

Did you know June is National Rosé Month? With Southwest Florida’s warm temperatures, we could easily celebrate this wine 365. Although I’m not a fan of faux holidays, this one is rather easy to rally behind. We share two stylish restaurants observing this occasion.

We also list five deals running through at least the end of June and some all summer.

Two new pizzerias

Owner Antonio De La Cruz opened his newest Tony’s NY Pizzeria on April 25; it is a sister restaurant to the Marco location with the same menu and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Specialty slices are generously sized and start at $5. Trust me: order the Fifth Avenue Mushroom.

Napoli on the Bay opened its latest location downtown near Skyline Chili, replacing Mama Mia’s. Napoli’s Crayton Cove location shut for good in April because the building is being torn down.

Closed in Bonita

After 17 years in Bonita Springs, Cirella’s, the sushi-Italian mashup, announced its closing via its website. The Naples location shuttered in March 2022. Cirella's has said its unredeemed gift certificates will be accepted at Naples Coastal Kitchen through Sept. 30. But Naples Coastal Kitchen told the Daily News that it will not honor any of them.
