Restaurant Manager Who Saved 11-Year-Old Boy From Suspected Abuse Speaks Out

Flaviane Carvalho was working at a restaurant in Florida when she says she noticed a boy who she thought was being treated strangely by his parents. “They were not talking with him. They didn’t give him food or drink,” she tells Dr. Phil in the video above. “I was able to see wounds between his eyebrows and bruises on the sides of his eyes. And after, I saw bruises on his arm.” She says that’s when she took action. Watch the video above to find out what she did and how it led to the boy being removed from an allegedly abusive home.
