Inspector Notes: Observed several food items in the reach in cooler and walk in coolers to not be covered. COS-PIC covered food items. Observed all food items throughout the facility held over 24 hours without any date labeling. Observed plastic bowls without handles being used as scoops in flour various seasonings.

NORTH BEACH BAR & GRILL, 33 MEDDIN DRIVE, UNIT A, TYBEE ISLAND, 87

Inspector Notes: Observed cheese (44F) and tomatoes (44F) stored in prep top cooler not at safe temperatures. Upon further investigation, items were double panned in cooler due to the lack of stabilizing bars.  Observed fish in prep top cooler holding temperatures above 41F (42F-45F). Observed mac and cheese stored on top of oven not holding required temperatures of 135F or above. Observed missing bars in prep top table inhibiting the ability to hold individual containers. Observed prep top table to not have top covers due to hinges being broken and unable to hold covers upright. Observed chip container to not have lid and utilizing garage bag as lid. Observed food debris and grease build-up on the outer portions of chaffer pans and other dishes on storage rack. Observed back door of kitchen opened frequently during inspection without air curtain turned on. Observed wax paper being stored on top of paper towel holder that was directly under an electric insect control device. Observed multiple cats in outside dining room with water and food bowls.

ALVIN ORD'S LLC (DBA ALVIN ORD'S), 4 WILMINGTON ISLAND ROAD, SAVANNAH, 82

Inspector Notes: Observed the following separation violations in walk-in cooler. Observed raw shelled eggs stored next to RTE cooked chicken. Observed raw whole cuts of beef stored next to raw chicken. Observed raw ground sausage stored on top of smoked RTE sausage which was stored on top of raw bacon. Observed raw bacon and smoked sausage stored next to raw ground beef. Observed raw sausage and raw bacon stored next to RTE au jus sauce. Observed entire speed rack filled with trays of sandwich bread lined with shredded cheese stored in main kitchen at room temperature without proper cold holding. PIC indicated that two of the racks had been held since 10:00am and the other racks had been held without cold holding for one hour.  Observed pork stored in roll-top cooler that had been portioned out and stored within bulk cooked pork in a single-use container. Container prohibited the pork from maintaining temperatures of 41F or below.
