Inspector Notes: Observed mildew-like substance on ice machine. Inspector Notes: Observed in walk-in cooler mildew-like substance and food debris on all food racks. Observed accumulation on fans in walk-in cooler. Observed faucet to handwashing sink in men's restroom not secured to sink basin. Observed build-up on walls and floors. Observed missing ceiling tiles. Observed drain flies throughout kitchen area. Observed multiple sticky fly strips hanging throughout kitchen.

Inspector Notes: Observed employees in the kitchen wearing gloves, take the gloves off, adjust hair-net, then start to put on new gloves with the intention to handle food. Observed raw food on floor of walk-in cooler. Observed main kitchen employees actively prepping food without wearing a hair restraint. Observed multiple wiping clothes resting on prep surfaces. Wiping clothes must be stored in clean storage, dirty storage or in sanitizer buckets.

Inspector Notes: Observed no servsafe certificate for manager in facility or on record. Observed prep top/reach in cooler out of temp. Observed cut up garnishes at bar not on ice (lemons, limes, oranges).

Inspector Notes: Observed chemical sanitzer not dispensing at the 3 comprtment sink and at the dish washer. Observed build-up on the baffle of the ice machine. Observed containers of bolognese sauce in the reach-in cooler that was prepped on 6/25 with temperatures exceeding 41F.

Inspector Notes: Observed ware washer not pulling sanitizer at the time of inspection. Observed multiple items in walk-in at above temperature 41F. (shrimp, chicken, and fish, etc.) Observed raw shrimp being thawed submerged in water in sink without the presence of running water.

Inspector Notes: Observed multiple sauces, pizza dough, and other food items in plastic containers not labeled with prep or discard date. Observed bottle of orange surface cleaner on top of the dough machine. Observed bottle of orange cleaner on shelf, sani wipes, spray bottles, and gloves on shelf along with dishware and seasonings. Observed Wd40 on and sanitizer on shelf with hot water heater. Observed first aid kit on cart with other tools and etc in kitchen on cart. Observed dirty rags stored through out facility, next to prep top, on dough machine, on cart, and in walk in cooler.  Observed random utensils stored thrown in corners and other spaces throughout the facility such as spoons, can openers, tin bowls, plastic bowls and containers, steel racks, can openers. Observed pizza circles and boxes stored on floor in bar area. Observed leak coming from AC vent in front of 3 comp sink. Observed fruit flies in bar area.

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE, 11196 ABERCORN ST., SAVANNAH, 83

Inspector Notes: Observed ice machine baffle and interior walls to have black and slime like build up. Observed drink mixers to be stored in the same ice that is being served to guest.  Observed alfredo pasta, shredded cheese and mac and cheese to be help in prep top unit from 7 am and was above 41F. Observed wet stacking of dishing in the clean dish storage area (dish pit). Observed walk in freezer to have an abundance of ice coating some foods. The unit is on the list to be repair and the ice build up can prevent the door from closing. Observed facility to not have any testing method to test high temperature dishwasher in main kitchen and bar area. Observed build up within reach in cooler on the prep line (liquid from meats settled on the bottom of cooler, old food debris in reach in cooler and potato cooler).

Inspector Notes: Observed food employee touching ready-to-eat shrimp with their bare hands. Observed food employee touching ready-to-eat lettuce with their bare hands. Observed walk-in cooler not capable of maintaining temperatures of 41F or lower during service. All food items within cooler ranged from 48F-51F. 

SAVANNAH COUNTRY CLUB (MAIN KITCHEN), 501 WILMINGTON ISLAND ROAD, SAVANNAH, 81

Inspector Notes: Observed raw salmon in reach-in cooler stored over and next to RTE items. Observed par cooked chicken stored above fish, whole cuts of beef and pork, and ground meats. Observed reach-in cooler to have been closed with a wiping cloth draping over the gasket preventing the door from fully closing. All products within the cooler ranged from 43F-51F. Observed par cooked chicken wings to be cold-held at temperatures of 43F-47F. Condensation was present on the underside of the covering and all other foods within the reach-in drawer were held at proper temperatures. Observed bowl being used as scoop and stored within panko crumbs. Observed plates and bowls stored on shelves around facility that were not inverted or protected from overhead contamination.
