Observed bottle of bleach on prep table next to cleaned glasses. Observed tea urns without lids under a ceiling fan. Observed a box of oil stored on floor under handwashing sink. Observed multiple soiled wiping cloths for counters left on surfaces. Observed facility did not have testing methods for checking for quat sanitizer solutions in buckets. Observed food debris on shelves in walk-in cooler and seasoning bins. Observed mildew-like substance on gaskets of reach-in coolers. Observed food residue on sides of equipment and appliances.

Inspector Notes: Observed build-up on side walls and baffles of ice machines within main kitchen and bar. Observed prep top cooler on service line to not be capable of maintaining 41F or below (ambient 50F). Observed reach-in cooler not capable of maintaining temperatures of 41F or below (ambient-49F). Observed hotdogs stored in hot holding box at 112F.

Inspector Notes: Observed TCS food cold holding above 41F ( cooked chicken, beef, etc.) Observed a sticky fly trap above food prep area.
AMERICAN LEGION POST 135-BETTY BOMBERS,1108 BULL ST., SAVANNAH, 83
Inspector Notes: Observed no CFSM certification posted in the facility. Facility has food handler certifications, which are not sufficient. PIC stated he will be taking over as the manager and plans to [sic] the CFSM class. Observed a broken prep-top cooler holding cheese (pepperjack, swiss, cheddar, blue) above 41F. Facility opens at 11am and food is placed in units at 10am. Observed build up of food debris in the gaskets, inside and outside of reach in units.
