ASHWAUBENON - The Resch Center has announced a pair of rock concerts: ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd for a co-headlining show on April 14 and Creed for the kickoff of its first tour in more than a decade on July 17.

Skynyrd will continue on its joint trek with ZZ Top for another 36 stops on The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour in 2024. Black Stone Cherry opens the 7 p.m. show.

Skynyrd was last at the arena in 2018 for its Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour. The Southern rock icons whose '70s hits include "Free Bird," "Sweet Home Alabama" and "That Smell" lost their lone founding member in March when guitarist Gary Rossington died at age 71.

Elwood Francis plays a 17-string bass as he and Billy Gibbons perform with ZZ Top in Memphis earlier this year. The band will play the Resch Center on April 14.

It has been far longer between Resch Center visits for ZZ Top, all the way back to 2003 for a show with Ted Nugent. The Texas blues-rock trio headlined the Greenville Lions Catfish Concert in 2022 in Greenville, a year after the death of founding member and bassist Dusty Hill at age 72.

Ticket prices start at $70.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and the Resch box office. An artist presale begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday and runs until 10 p.m. Thursday.

Creed, the post-grunge band known for such soaring anthems of the late '90s as "Higher" and "With Arms Wide Open," will play the arena for the first time as part of its Summer of ’99 Tour. Guest artists are Switchfoot and Finger Eleven.

Green Bay is the first of 40 cities and the band's first outing after an 11-year hiatus.

Tickets for the 7 p.m. show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and the Resch Center box office. Prices start at $39.50. More information about VIP packages is available at creed.com.

Creed frontman Scott Stapp was in Green Bay on Oct. 6 for an acoustic performance at EPIC Event Center as part of a benefit called A Night with Operation Song, a nonprofit that pairs Nashville songwriters with local veterans to tell their stories through song.

He will release a solo album, "Higher Power," on March 15.
