Republicans Call Out Trump for Mocking Elijah Cummings Home Burglary: ‘So Unnecessary’

GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley called out President Donald Trump Friday morning for a “childish” and “unnecessary” dig at Rep. Elijah Cummings, respectively. After a week’s worth of attacks on the representative and his city of Baltimore, Trump tweeted in response to reports the congressman’s home had been burglarized last Saturday, “Really bad news! The Baltimore house of Elijah Cummings was robbed. Kinzinger wrote, “This is so beneath the office you hold.
