Hunter Stroud, Martinsville
A jack-of-all-trades, Stroud silently played a big role in Martinsville's 35-21 win over Whiteland Friday. The sophomore caught five passes for 63 yards and two scores and added a tackle on the defensive end. Stroud also tacked on 75 return yards, including one that broke big and ultimately set up an Artesian score, consistently setting Martinsville up with great field position. In total, he finished with the team's second most all-purpose yards with 138.
Nick Patterson, Mooresville
Mooresville's senior quarterback not only had a hand in all of Mooresville's touchdowns in Friday's loss to Franklin, but he made up 327 of Mooresville's 357 yards. Patterson threw for 189 yards and two scores, while carrying it 24 times for 138 yards and a score.
Emery Newlin, Monrovia
The sophomore star led the way in goals as the Bulldogs went 3-0 on the week, outscoring opponents 18-2 to improve to 11-1. Newlin accounted for five of those goals and two assists. She also went 2-for-2 on PAT attempts in the Bulldogs' football loss to Beech Grove.
Bo Polston, Decatur Central
Decatur Central's freshman quarterback has impressed in the way he's commandeered the Hawks' offense this season, and Friday he had a breakout performance, throwing for 378 yards and three touchdowns on 69% passing during an overtime loss to Plainfield.
Arjun Lothe, Indian Creek
The Braves' senior simply cannot stop delivering touchdowns. This week Lothe aired it out for 263 yards and six touchdowns during a win over Edgewood, upping his season total to 18 scores through the air.
