WWE was reportedly pleased with the atmosphere at their shows in France, and they are looking to replicate the reactions to Jey Uso‘s entrance.

The WWE crowds in France were renowned for their passion. This energy was especially evident in their response to Jey Uso’s entrance at WWE Backlash France. Many fans used their phone flashlights to add a visual element to the entrance during Uso’s “Yeet” taunt.

Corey Brennan of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per sources in WWE production, Jey Uso’s reactions have been received very well. Brennan reports that the company plans to push fans towards recreating the way the crowd reacted during Uso’s entrance at Backlash. Specifically, the crowd lighting will be dimmed during Uso’s entrance. Brennan also notes that examples of Uso’s theme being played in the mainstream will be highlighted as well.

At WWE Backlash, Jey Uso unsuccessfully challenged Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Jey Uso is set to face Ilja Dragunov on the May 13 episode of WWE RAW. Both men won their first-round King of the Ring tournament matches last week. More information is available here.
