Report: WWE King And Queen Of The Ring Set For Saudi Arabia
WWE is reportedly returning to Saudi Arabia in May.
PWInsider reports that WWE will hold the King and Queen of the Ring event on May 27 in Saudi Arabia. As of this writing, the working plan is for the show to be held in Jeddah. The event will be WWE’s first show in Saudi Arabia since Crown Jewel 2022.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer previously reported that WWE was considering holding King of the Ring as a standalone event in 2023. More information is available here.
In November 2019, WWE expanded its partnership with the General Authority for Entertainment, and the deal runs through 2027. In the announcement, WWE noted that the company would hold a second annual “large-scale event” moving forward.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
