A new report provides an update on Miro, who has been sidelined in recent months.

The former TNT Champion last wrestled at AEW Worlds End on December 30, where he beat Andrade El Idolo. He had been featured on AEW Collision after he was previously absent for several months. “Miro “The Redeemer” has been out of action due to a shoulder injury and an elbow injury. In April, he noted that he was recovering and rehabbing.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that AEW had hoped to get Miro back in the spring. However, his recovery from the injury was behind schedule.

For those asking about an update on Miro, AEW had hoped that they’d get Miro back in the spring, but the injury was behind schedule.

As of this writing, there is no word on when Miro will return to the ring. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
