Report: Cody Rhodes Sold Over $1 Million In Merchandise Over WrestleMania Weekend

Cody Rhodes scored a huge win in the ring at WWE WrestleMania 40, but the weekend was successful outside of the ring as well.

Rhodes has become the face of WWE in recent years, and he headlined both nights of WrestleMania 40. On night one, he and Seth Rollins lost to Roman Reigns and The Rock. The next night. Rhodes beat Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Fightful Select reports that WWE sent out an internal memo, which stated that Cody Rhodes sold over $1 million in merchandise throughout WrestleMania weekend. The memo noted that this broke Rhodes’ own record from last year.
