Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is currently out of action due to an injury.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that, per multiple WWE sources, Strowman has suffered a concussion. He was set to compete at WWE’s live events over the weekend, but he was taken off the road so he could heal. Strowman last wrestled on the April 21 episode of WWE SmackDown, where he and Ricochet defeated the Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar).
It’s unclear how long Strowman will be out of action.
Update: Strowman commented on the situation in a tweet. He thanked everyone for reaching out and stated that he’s doing much better. Strowman wrote that he hates missing work, and they are taking every proper step to make sure that he recovers 100%.
