Get in loser, we're going dropping!

Renée Rapp was snapped in New York City on Wednesday — her 24th birthday! — following an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she was promoting her new musical movie Mean Girls.

In one photo, the actress and singer — who had a bottle of Veuve Clicquot in one hand — took a tumble onto the sidewalk before she was quickly helped up by several individuals.

Rapp later poked fun at the moment on Instagram, posting a snapshot of herself with an unmistakable run in her pantyhose and a skinned knee. Sitting inside a vehicle, she appeared to be drinking straight from the bottle of Champagne.

"Fell before I was drunk happy birthday to me," she captioned the post, prompting her on-screen mom Busy Philipps to respond: "You are truly my child. happy birthday, bb."

In the new Mean Girls movie — which was adapted from the Broadway musical version of the original 2004 hit film — Rapp stars as Regina George, the vindictive Queen Bee of North Shore High School, originally played on-screen by Rachel McAdams.

Rapp's role in the film comes after she starred as Regina on Broadway, taking over the role originated by Taylor Louderman. She is joined by Avantika and Bebe Wood as Regina's Plastics cohorts, Karen and Gretchen, plus Angourie Rice as Cady, Auli'i Cravalho as Janis and Jaquel Spivey as Damian.

In February 2023, screenwriter Tina Fey announced that she and Tim Meadows would step back into their original movie roles as Ms. Norbury and Principal Duvall.

Additionally, The Office alumna Jenna Fischer plays Cady's mother and Philipps, 44, plays "cool mom" Mrs. George. Jon Hamm rounds out the cast as Coach Carr.

Aside from Fey, 53, and Meadows, 62, other original cast members are celebrating the release of the new movie. Some of them — including Lindsay Lohan — even attended the film's premiere on Monday night.

Lohan, who originated the lead role of Cady, looked totally grool in a long-sleeved black dress by Alexandre Vauthier that had a gorgeous cutout bejeweled with silver crystals.

Other North Shore High School alums in attendance for the red carpet included Daniel Franzese, who played Damian two decades ago, and Rajiv Surendra, wearing a Mathletes letterman jacket as a nod to his character Kevin G., who is portrayed by Mahi Alam in the new version.

Franzese, 45, told PEOPLE at the premiere in New York City that "we all want" to make a sequel. He added of his former costars, "We all talk when we can. It's very difficult. We were all really busy, but I love them also.”

Mean Girls is in theaters Friday.
