Reid Scott Joins Reese Witherspoon In ‘Home Again’

EXCLUSIVE: Veep‘s Reid Scott has been cast in Home Again starring Reese Witherspoon along with Candice Bergen and Michael Sheen. The indie comedy is written and helmed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer and is set to begin production later this month. Open Road will release the pic domestically in late 2017.

Witherspoon plays a recently separated mother of two whose new life is upturned when she decides to take in three young, charismatic guys who become part of her unconventional family. Scott will play Justin Miller, a successful, fast-talking, and funny Hollywood producer who takes an interest in producing the boys’ film. Nancy Meyers is producing alongside Black Bicycle Entertainment’s Erika Olde. MadRiver Pictures is selling the foreign rights.

In addition to starring as Dan Egan on HBO’s Emmy winning comedy, Scott appears in Demetri Martin’s Dean with Kevin Kline and also received a Daytime Emmy nom for his voiceover work in the Netflix original animated series Turbo FAST. He is repped by Impression Entertainment, Gersh, and Stone, Genow, Smelkinson, Binder and Christopher.
