Reggie Miller’s Embarrassing Airplane Selfie Story With Julia Roberts
On Tuesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, former NBA All-Star Reggie Miller shared an embarrassing incident with Julia Roberts on an airplane. Miller likes to get to know the people he flies next to. He sometimes posts a picture with them and their story on Instagram and calls them “seatmate selfies.”
Most of the time the people are average citizens, but on one particular flight he sat next Julia Roberts. He couldn’t contain his excitement and asked her to be part of his selfie. Miller took a picture with the actress and got to know her.
In his excitement, he posted the photo midflight. However, he realized his mistake when he walked off the terminal and saw dozens of fans waiting for Julia Roberts. He had inadvertently tipped them off to her travel plans and had likely caused a hassle for her.
To make amends, Reggie Miller apologized to the star on-air.
