Double doppelganger alert! Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s kids Ava and Deacon Phillippe are their famous parents’ lookalikes in a new photo shared over the weekend. Granted, much has already been made in the past about how much Ava, 20, and Deacon, 16, resemble their mom and dad. But seeing the two side-by-side proves they’re practically Reese and Ryan’s twins — it’s like looking at a snapshot of the former couple during their Cruel Intentions days.

On Sunday, Ava took to Instagram to share a super-cute picture of her hanging out with her brother. In the pic, Deacon has his arm around her, she’s laughing, and we can only imagine how much this moment warmed Reese’s mom-heart. “When did my little brother become one of my best friends?” Ava captioned the photo, adding the hashtag #thanksforvisiting (she’s currently a sophomore at UC Berkeley). Adorably, Deacon responded in the comments, telling his sister, “Thanks for having me.” And, to top it all off, Reese chimed in too, gushing, “You look so happy!”

Of course, fans had thoughts as well. While many weighed in on how amazing it is when you realize your brother is your BFF, others couldn’t help but comment on the family gene pool. “Beautiful picture! I feel like I’m looking at a flashback photo of your parents,” one commenter wrote. Another joked, “Omg Reese and Ryan, the early years,” which prompted yet another to agree, “I thought the same!”

While Ava and Deacon’s resemblance to their famous mom and dad is wild, what’s even wilder to think about is how Ava is almost the age Reese was when she and then-husband Ryan brought the little girl home from the hospital.

“I’ve been a mom since 1999. I got pregnant [with daughter Ava] when I was 22 and delivered when I was 23,” Reese said in September on her Reese Witherspoon x Hello Sunshine YouTube page, admitting, “To be totally honest, it was scary. I was scared. I didn’t know what it was going to do to my job or my career.”

Of course, fast forward to the present and, at 43, Reese continues to crush it with her career. Even if it had impacted her work at all, though, the actress-slash-producer — who also shares son Tennessee, 7, with husband Jim Toth — would still be “glad that I had kids kind of young.”
