In an upcoming promotional video released for her fashion line, Draper James, Witherspoon reveals how she earned the nickname “Wreath Witherspoon” and gets a little cheeky by giving other celebrities holiday monikers of her own. Founded in 2015, Draper James is a nod to Witherspoon’s Southern heritage and two of the greatest influences in her life — her grandmother, Dorothea Draper, and her grandfather, William James Witherspoon. In early October 2015, the company announced it had raised $10 million in venture capital for expansion with brick-and-mortar stores in Nashville, Tenn., and Dallas.
