Reese Witherspoon and Ava Phillippe Have Glam Mother-Daughter Date in Matching Gowns and Dazzling Diamonds

The duo were decked out for Tiffany & Co.'s launch of Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste

Like mother, like daughter!

Reese Witherspoon and her look-alike daughter, Ava Phillippe, had a matching moment at the April 25 Tiffany & Co. event celebrating the launch of Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste. Both women wore strapless gowns with matching silhouettes.

Witherspoon, 48, wore a black David Koma midi dress with wrap skirt and thigh-high slit with a silver ring clasp at her hip, while Phillippe, 24, rocked a gray flannel bustier gown by Alberta Ferretti.

Naturally, both mom and daughter were decked out in Tiffany & Co. pieces from the new high jewelry collection at the soiree at the Beverly Estate in Beverly Hills, Calif.

According to a press release, "The otherworldly Tiffany High Jewelry celebrates Jean Schlumberger’s boundless imagination and his fascination with the mysteries of the universe. and rediscovers the designer’s iconic interpretations of the sun, moon, stars, distant galaxies, and fantasy worlds."

Witherspoon and Phillippe were joined by other celebrities like Anya Taylor-Joy, Emily Blunt, Gabrielle Union, Usher, Olivia Wilde and Suki Waterhouse.

Witherspoon and Phillippe have been enjoying their mother-daughter red carpet outings this year. The two sat front row at the Fendi Haute Couture show in Paris in January wearing coordinated colorblock looks and carrying matching Fendi bags. Witherspoon wore a black high-collar dress with flared skirt, while Phillippe added a pop of color in her yellow turtleneck and gray skirt combo.

A few days before that outing, the duo walked the red carpet at the Critics Choice Awards, where the Morning Show star was nominated for best actress for her role in the show. Much like the Tiffany & Co. event, they took their twinning game seriously in their coordinating looks. Witherspoon wore a floor-length strapless black Celine dress (with another thigh-high slit!) and Phillippe a pearl-adorned black Monique Lhuillier minidress.

Phillippe opened up to PEOPLE in early April about her close relationship with her mother and shared the wise beauty advice that she's given her growing up.

"My mom is Southern," Phillippe told PEOPLE exclusively while chatting about her new role with Vince Camuto fragrances. "A big saying in the South, especially amongst women is, 'Pretty is as pretty does.'"

For Witherspoon and Phillippe, that means embodying good values all around because "beauty" isn't just surface level.

"Every time that comes up in my brain or I see people bring critical of others online for their appearance, I just always think, you're only as beautiful as you treat other people," Phillippe, whose dad is Witherspoon's ex Ryan Phillippe, shared. "As we move through the world, I find that beauty is really subjective, but what's not is being kind and being open and treating people with respect. I think that you glow from within when you're a good person."
