Recently honored, Flat Rock Playhouse announces 2024 lineup

Flat Rock Playhouse was honored this week by the North Carolina Theatre Conference with the annual George A. Parides Professional Theatre Award.

According to a news release, each year, the NCTC Board of Directors presents the NCTC Awards to companies, schools and individuals that have exhibited leadership roles in their community, as well as artistic, professional or educational excellence.

The George A. Parides Professional Theatre Award is presented to a professional theatrecompany in North Carolina that has demonstrated artistic excellence and communityleadership, the release said.

“Flat Rock Playhouse is a valuable NCTC member and an active contributor to our statewide theatrecommunity,” said NCTC Executive Director Angie Hays in the release. “We’re pleased to honor their incredible work, from outstanding professional productions to the wide impact of their educational programs that are inspiring the next generation of theatre artists and audiences."

Flat Rock Playhouse has also set its 2024 schedule, with subscriptions going on sale Jan. 10 and single tickets going on sale Jan. 24. Listed below are the performances lined up for next year:
