Rebel Wilson is ready to tell the stories behind some of her most famous moments.

The actress, 43, reflected on the process of writing her upcoming memoir, Rebel Rising, in a video posted on Instagram on Saturday. After admitting that she’s “been feeling a bit down lately” and is appreciative of the supportive comments from her fans, she shared some of the secrets she’s planning to reveal in her book.

“I’ve been thinking a lot about my book, Rebel Rising, because I’ve been recording the audiobook for it,” she said.

The memoir, which is due out on April 2, will feature stories that her fans “might find interesting,” she said as she teased one topic in particular that the book will expand on.

Her "Pitch Perfect stories” will be a highlight of the memoir, as Wilson said she’ll share the story behind her character Fat Amy’s infamous scene in Pitch Perfect 2 where she accidentally bares it all — literally — to a crowd that includes Barack and Michelle Obama.

In the hilarious opening scene of the 2015 film, Fat Amy descends onto the stage in an impressive aerial maneuver as she sings Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.” The skin-tight full-body leotard she’s wearing eventually splits open, prompting a series of chaotic scenes — and a deadpan shot of the supposed audience members, including the Obamas.

In Rebel Rising, Wilson said she’ll explain “how the hell that happened,” referring to the infamous scene. “Fun times like that," she noted.

The actress added, “I trained for five weeks, by the way, to do that aerial stunt routine. It was quite impressive.”

Aside from behind-the-scenes secrets from the hit movie trilogy, Wilson said, “There are so many stories in the book that I am so excited to share with you guys.”

“Talking about weight and body image and how you feel about yourself — that was kind of really important for me to discuss in depth in the book,” she continued of the contents of Rebel Rising. “And sexuality and things like fertility issues and a lot of stuff from when I was younger as well, like being super shy, and then also what it was like going into the entertainment industry and dealing with rejection and feeling like you may not be good enough.”

In October, the Senior Year star told PEOPLE she’d “underestimated how much work it really is” to write a book about her own life.

“I think the first few chapters were really s---,” she said. “Then the editor was like, ‘This just doesn't sound like you.’ So what I started doing is I just sat there by myself as if I'm just telling the story to a friend. I just kind of found my writing style — as if I'm sitting opposite my friend, telling you all my life's deepest secrets, which is a bit scary."

Though she admitted the candid nature of the memoir can be “very embarrassing,” Wilson said she thought to herself, “If I'm doing it, I'm doing it full out.”
