All Reba McEntire needs for Valentine's Day is her boyfriend, actor Rex Linn — and a meal from Sonic.

For the upcoming romantic holiday, the country superstar, 68, is teaming up with Sonic to launch Reba's Sweetheart Meal, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal — and she'll be chowing down on it with Linn to celebrate.

"Rex and I love Sonic," McEntire tells PEOPLE.

Her signature meal — a cheeseburger with the works, tater tots and the brand-new chocolate covered strawberry shake — launches at the fast food chain on Feb. 12.

The "Fancy" musician has long been open about her love for Sonic, which she's frequented since her pre-fame days growing up in Oklahoma. "I remember my boyfriend, Kelly Ryan, and I going to have a date at the Sonic before we went to the theater," she recalls. "I loved pulling up and ordering with their little push-button system. I thought that was the coolest thing in the world."

When McEntire began dating Linn in 2020, the pair went for a date at a restaurant in Los Angeles and bonded over their shared love of tater tots — a Sonic menu staple. Since that dinner, the pair has adopted fitting nicknames for one another: McEntire is "Tater Tot," while Linn is "Sugar Tot."

For their first Valentine's Day, the pair chose not to go out for a "big, elaborate, fancy meal" and instead drove to Sonic for a simple evening. "We just had a blast doing it," explains McEntire. "We thought it was fun to set our food and our drinks up on the dash, take a picture of it and post it on social media and send it to our friends."

This year, they'll do the same. "We're going to be here in Nashville, and we're going to go to Sonic," she says. "We're going to hit it and have our favorites. We might even try something new maybe for dessert."

McEntire is a fan of many items on the menu — which made it difficult to narrow down her Sweetheart Meal to just three. "I love the footlong [quarter pound] coney. I love their ice. Their ice is the best," she gushes. "Of course, cherry limeade, I love that. I love all their shakes. But this chocolate covered strawberry shake, I bet I had two of them when we were shooting the commercial. I absolutely love it."

Valentine's Day will be extra special for McEntire and Linn this year, but for the happy couple, it's ultimately not much different from any other day.

"Every day is Valentine's Day for us. We're just silly, goofy people in our 60s that love life [and] love each other," says the Grammy winner. "We have fun. We're dorky, goofy, and we have similar interests in just about everything, so it's just fun all the time."
