The Paul Brothers have shown over the years that there is no moneymaking opportunity that they don’t like. Jake Paul will throw himself into the lion’s den this summer when he gets into the boxing ring with the legendary Mike Tyson.

The matchup will take place on July 20 at The AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The fight will also be streamed live via Netflix, the latest effort from the powerhouse platform to branch out into live broadcasts.

“Promotion promotion promotion if I’m being honest it don’t need that..,” Paul wrote in a long caption via X. “The biggest fight of the 21st century, in the biggest NFL stadium in the US, broadcast live, on the biggest streaming platform in the world… that’s the MVP way. Whether you’re tuning in on Netflix or showing out in person, whether you’re team Paul or team Tyson, or whether you’re a lifelong boxing fan or watching your first fight, you’re not going to want to miss this event.”

Mike Tyson may currently be 57 years old, but it is safe to assume his hands are still lethal weapons. Despite this very strong possibility, Jake Paul is enthused about the opportunity to get in the ring with him.

“I could not be more excited to make this amazing fight available to all Netflix subscribers alongside the hardest hitter of all time, Mike Tyson, on Saturday, July 20th,” he wrote. “My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. Time to put Iron Mike to sleep.”

Paul is no slouch in the boxing ring, currently holding a 9-1 record and defeating the likes of Anderson Silva, Nate Robinson, Nate Diaz, and Tyron Woodley. His sole loss happened against Tommy Fury. Iron Mike, on the other hand, holds a 50-6 record in 58 total professional bouts. He hasn’t fought professionally since 2005, but he did have an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.

It will be interesting to see what happens on July 20; Jake Paul can potentially score the biggest victory of his career or Mike Tyson will show people that no matter how old he gets, he is still that guy.
