The talk/variety series “Real Time with Bill Maher,” hosted by Bill Maher, has been running for nearly two decades now, and is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, HBO has already renewed the series to continue through 2024 and Season 21. So don’t expect Maher to leave airwaves anytime soon.
Fans of the show may be wondering – is “Real Time with Bill Maher” new tonight? Yes, there is a new episode airing June 24 at 10pm ET/7pm PT.
This week features a one-on-one interview with Christine Emba, columnist for the Washington Post and author of “Rethinking Sex: A Provocation.” This week’s panel discussion will include Andrew Sullivan, blogger of The Weekly Dish on Substack and author of “Out on a Limb: Selected Writing, 1989-2021”; and Katie Herzog, co-host of the podcast “Blocked and Reported.”
Last week’s episode, which is streaming on HBO Max, featured a one-on-one interview with Danny Strong, Emmy®-winning writer and producer of the films “Recount” and “Game Change,” whose latest project is “Dopesick,” a Hulu limited series about the opioid epidemic, starring Michael Keaton. The panel discussion included Krystal Ball, co-host of the podcasts “Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar” and “Krystal, Kyle & Friend”; and James Kirchick, columnist for Tablet, writer-at-large for Airmail, and author of the New York Times bestselling book “Secret City: The Hidden History of Gay Washington.”
