The Real-Life 'Conjuring' House Will Be Subject Of A Ghost Hunters Show
Ghost Adventures is taking you inside the real-life haunted house that inspired the hit horror franchise.
A Hit Franchise
Horror films have been having a bit of a renaissance lately, and The Conjuring franchise is definitely a major part of that resurgence. Starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as famous paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, The Conjuring has inspired two sequels and a number of spinoffs.
The Real Life Inspiration
The real life Warrens were renowned for their investigations into the paranormal, and a new two-hour Halloween special on US TV's Ghost Adventures is going to dig into the house that inspired The Conjuring. In a press release, US TV laid out their plans to explore the house.
"A two-hour Halloween special, Ghost Adventures: Halloween 2019, takes the team to Rhode Island for an unforgettable lock-down inside the real-life home that inspired the iconic horror film, The Conjuring. The home's hauntings were also made famous by renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren."
A New Supernatural Investigation
According the the press release, the Ghost Adventures team will have their hands full with this super haunted residence.
"The Rhode Island home is one of the most terrifying places in the world. Ghost Adventures crew is ready to confront the potentially dangerous consequences of investigating the infamous house."
Tons Of Ghost Activity
The Ghost Adventures team is fully ready to take it on. Team member Zak Bagans could hardly contain his excitement.
"I've investigated a lot of places, but these locations are absolutely terrifying on a whole other level. The real-life house that inspired the Conjuring movies - I'm speechless! That has a been a dream of mine to investigate for years and I can't believe it's finally happening. It's beyond legendary. I can't wait for viewers to experience this terrifying adventure with us."
Ghost Adventures: Halloween 2019 airs on 10/31 on ET.
