Former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak and ex-NFL player Kroy Biermann are calling it quits after 11 years of marriage.

According to two petitions filed to Fulton County Superior Court within hours of each other, the couple is planning to end their marriage, after being separated since April. Biermann submitted his petition around 1:15 p.m. local time. The courts filed Zolciak's petition for divorce around 3:44 p.m. local time.

Both parties filed petitions noting the marriage is "irretrievably broken."

Though the couple has been separated, documents show that Zolciak, whose legal name is Kimberleigh Biermann, and Biermann have been living at the same address with the four minor children they share: Kroy, 11, Kash, 10 and 9-year old twins Kane and Kaia. Zolciak has two older daughters, Brielle, 25, and Ariana, 21, from previous relationships.

After the birth of the twins, Zolciak told Life & Style  magazine in 2014 she finally felt like her family was "100% complete."

"It's an absolute trip having one baby in your arm — if not two — while Brielle wants food, Kash wants to be held and KJ's peeing all over the toilet. It's just hectic, but I wouldn't change it for anything. It's a trip," she said at the time about her expanding family.

The couple's relationship was closely documented on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" during Season 3 when the two first met. Their 11/11/11 wedding was documented in Bravo's series "Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding" before they landed their own reality show, focusing on their family, which premiered in 2012 and has run for eight seasons.
