Real Housewives Of New Jersey Star Melissa Gorga Denies Saying Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards Was Taking Ozempic; Says “Don’t Believe The BS”
Not a fantastic week for Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga. It’s one thing to stay on the bad side of your sister-in-law for a storyline that has to last you 19 years. Unfortunately for Melissa, it’s quite another thing to step outside of your own franchise and speak on someone else.
Traditionally that never ends well and now Melissa is all up in it. After opening her mouth on Jeff Lewis’ radio show and commenting on Kyle Richards’ weight loss, Melissa is working hard to walk back her words.
According to Page Six, Melissa is
rewriting history straight up denying she said the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was leaning into Ozempic to shed the pounds. This comes after months of Kyle sharing numerous photos of herself working out and detailing the miraculous results of cutting alcohol and sugar out of her diet.
Melissa jumped on social media to try and smooth over her case of foot-in-mouth syndrome. She wrote on an Instagram story, “What’s happening in the press?!! Guys! Don’t believe the BS. I Never said [Kyle] was on Ozempic!” In a court setting, this would be a true statement. At no time did Melissa ever utter, “KYLE RICHARDS IS ON OZEMPIC”.
Melissa’s exact words were, “I’m not gonna lie, when I first saw her [Kyle], I was like, ‘Ooh she’s taking that stuff.’” So at best Melissa assumed her buddy’s weight loss was due to drugs and not hard work or effort. In her favor, she didn’t say the exact word Ozempic.

I’m not a frequent passenger on the Melissa hate train because I simply don’t think she’s important enough. But in this situation she should have known better. Was Kyle supposed to thank her for a backhanded compliment? Despite Melissa’s snafu, she wants everyone to know that Kyle is absolutely, positively, officially not mad at her. She said, “Give the lady some credit! We are laughing at all of this! We are good.”
Kyle recently shared she exchanged texts with Melissa before making a silent promise to never acknowledge her existence again. It does make one wonder if Kyle’s weight loss journey and the accusations she has faced will be addressed on RHOBH. Historically Kyle tends to keep her personal issues under the radar, unless it has to do with a sibling.
This comes on the heels of Melissa’s co-star Jackie Goldschneider saying she has been “horrified” by the current Ozempic trend. She also previously stated, “A lot of people in the ‘Housewives’ world are on Ozempic.”
While Melissa continues to clean the mess she made, nothing will stop Kyle from sharing more pics of her hot bod on social media. At least Melissa managed to get her name in the media without being connected to Teresa Giudice. First time for everything.
TELL US- WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE OZEMPIC TREND? DO YOU THINK PEOPLE ARE LYING ABOUT USING IT? DO YOU THINK KYLE HAS FORGIVEN MELISSA FOR THE ACCUSATION?
