Halloween Kills not only features Jamie Lee Curtis returning yet again to the franchise, but also the return Kyle Richards.

Although she's more famous for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills nowadays, Kyle starred in the first movie as young Lindsey Wallace and she has now reprised her horror movie role 40 years on.

But it wasn't all fun for her on the film's set as she actually ended up with a pretty nasty injury, breaking her nose while rehearsing a fight scene with Michael Myers.

Reminiscing about the film's shoot with Entertainment Tonight, Richards said: "I was working with a stunt coordinator to do a fight scene with Michael Myers and umm, yeah, let's just say while I was rehearsing something flew back and hit me in the face and I knew immediately that something was wrong."

Explaining why she kept her injury a secret, the star explained: "Well, you know, you're looking at someone standing there looking just like you, dressed like you, waiting for their time.

"I was like, no, I wanted this myself so I sort of kept it together and then when I got back to LA, I found out that it was indeed broken."

Although she's moved more into reality television lately, Richards has kept in touch with Jamie Lee Curtis over the years, often doing charity work together. When she arrived on the set of Halloween Kills, the Laurie Strode actress came over and gave her a massive hug.

"She's always been so loving and supportive towards me," Richards stated. "It's just amazing after all these years to have that bond we always had."

Halloween Kills is released on October 15, 2021, and will be followed by Halloween Ends on October 14, 2022.
