Real Housewife Lisa Rinna guest stars on ‘Lopez vs Lopez’

(NBC) — Tuesday is a special day for George Lopez, not just because he has back-to-back episodes of “Lopez vs. Lopez” airing, or because there is a special guest star.

George Lopez turns 63 on Tuesday, but you might not guess that based on his head of hair.

“At this point in my life, if you have this, why would you cut it?” said Lopez.

Tuesday night, those locks get the attention of a hairdresser played by Lisa Rinna on “Lopez vs. Lopez.”

“She’s fantastic,” said Lopez. “I mean, just so funny, so willing, and so great to just be around for that week of that episode.”

“It’s all about George’s hair,” said Rinna. “We can put it in a bun. They want to braid it. We can do like a high pony.”

Rinna’s character takes an interest in George just as his ex, Rosie is embarking on a new relationship.

“It’s fun, you know, because we go in, you know, we tried to make each other jealous,” said Lopez. “So, it’s very much like, like kids in high school.”

And Rinna was not intimidated by doing a sitcom.

“Do you know how long I’ve waited for this kind of attention?” said Rinna. “I gotta say, come on! This is gonna fill me up for a while. It’s good for me. I need it.”

Back-to-back episodes of “Lopez vs. Lopez” air Tuesday starting at 8 p.m. on NBC4.
