Get ready to shop for deals at Bronco Swap Meet grand re-opening Sept. 30

The Bronco Swap Meet in the Lower Valley, an iconic flea market for at least 35 years, will re-open Sept. 30 in the Lower Valley. Doors will open at 7 a.m.

Among El Paso's flea market offerings, the Bronco Swap Meet at 8408 Alameda Ave. is a top destination, alongside those at Ascarate Park, Fox Plaza Shopping Center, and the El Paso Punk Rock Flea Market at 111 E Robinson Ave.

With dozens of vendors on board, the Bronco Swap Meet will have an extensive assortment of items, including furniture, kitchenware, memorabilia, yard decorations, toys, food, and snacks. Attendees can look forward to live music and exciting giveaways during the grand opening.

In early 2020, the owners of the Bronco Swap Meet voluntarily closed the flea market to fix a long list of building code and fire safety problems. There had been a fire at the swap meet in August of that year.
