RC16 Cast: Janhvi Kapoor’s Father Boney Kapoor Confirms Her Movie With Ram Charan

Fans have been waiting to watch Ram Charan on the big screens since 2022. The actor did not shine on the big screens after starring in SS Rajamouli’s RRR and later in Acharaya. Now, all eyes are on his upcoming films, Game Changer and RC16. While very few details about RC16 have been revealed yet, Boney Kapoor recently confirmed that Janhvi Kapoor is a part of the film. Ram Charan is among the most prominent stars in the Telugu film industry. In 2022, the actor announced his collaboration with director Buchi Babu Sana. As the makers did not reveal the movie’s title, it was tentatively titled RC16.

There have been many rumors about RC16 and its cast. While Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s name first made rounds to play the lead actress, Janhvi Kapoor’s name also came in reports. However, it has now been confirmed because Boney Kapoor himself addressed his daughter’s work in Telugu cinema.

Janhvi Kapoor to play female lead in Ram Charan’s next

Recently, producer Boney Kapoor appeared in an interview for iDream Media and opened up about his connection with the Telugu industry. The producer revealed how he had bankrolled various movies in the Telugu cinema. He added how his late wife Sridevi had also done a number of Telugu movies. Moreover, the producer revealed that his daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, is set to film a movie with Ram Charan.

He said, “My daughter has already shot for a film with Jr NTR. She’s loving every bit of the day she spends on sets here. Soon, she will start a film with Ram Charan too.” The proud father further mentioned how Janhvi is working with two of the most prominent stars in the industry.
