It is tentatively called RC 16, as the movie marks Ram’s 16th project as a lead actor. Fans are curious about the film’s casting, especially the antagonist. According to a new report, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will play the part.

The buzz around RC 16 heightened after the ‘Bhumi Pooja’ on March 20, 2024. Several actresses’ names were swirling around in the film circles to play the leading lady in the movie. However, Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor ultimately signed the film. It will mark her second Telugu project after Jr NTR’s Devara: Part 1. The rest of the cast is, however, yet to be finalized. Sanjay Dutt in talks to play the lead antagonist of RC 16

According to OTTplay, Sanjay Dutt is in talks to play the antagonist in RC 16. Buchi Babu Sana recently met the actor in Mumbai for a narration. The Munna Bhai MBBS star allegedly loved the script and has agreed to sign the film.

The team will allegedly release Sanjay’s first look on Ram Charan’s birthday, March 27. The film’s first poster will reportedly be unveiled on the same day. The makers are currently building sets for the filming of RC 16, and the film will likely go on floors in April.

This is not Sanjay’s first venture in the South Indian film industry. The actor has previously played critical roles in projects like KGF: Chapter 2 and Leo. He will star in Ram Pothineni’s Double iSmart as the antagonist.

On the other hand, Ram Charan is gearing up for his upcoming film, Game Changer. The actor allegedly has a movie with Pushpa director Sukumar in the pipeline.
