Emmy winner Ray Romano is set as a lead in No Good Deed, Netflix’s eight-episode dark comedy series from Dead To Me creator Liz Feldman.

Created by Feldman, No Good Deed follows three very different families vying to buy the very same 1920s Spanish style villa that they think will solve all their problems. But as the sellers have already discovered, sometimes the home of your dreams can be a total nightmare.

Romano will play Paul Morgan. Constantly stressed and flat broke, Paul is a contractor desperate to retire, pay off his debts and escape LA. He thinks selling his beautiful Los Feliz home is the solution to all his and his wife Lydia’s problems, but his past mistakes will continue to haunt him.

Feldman serves as showrunner and executive produces with Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum for Gloria Sanchez Productions, along with Christie Smith and Silver Tree, who will direct the pilot and additional episodes.

Romano won three Emmys for CBS hit Everybody Loves Raymond, one for lead actor and two for comedy series, shared with the rest of the sitcom’s producing team. He recently co-wrote, directed and starred in the movie Somewhere In Queens and recurred on Pete Davidson’s Peacock comedy series Bupkis. Romano is repped by CAA, The Conversation Company and Del Shaw Moonves.
