Ray J is not backing down from Kodak Black even after the latter threatened violence against him. The “One Wish” singer expressed his willingness to fight the Pompano Beach, Fla., artist. He also claimed that he has evidence to back up the story about the time the two had dinner with Donald Trump.

“No, he don’t want no real fade,” the 42-year-old actor said in an Instagram Live video on Monday (Oct. 30). “He talking about he gon’ beat me up. Bro, if you don’t cut it out… You a street ni**a, right? You’re a rapper? Well, let’s take the fade since you said you gon’ beat me up. Since you went all the way left with it.”

The Raydiation artist continued his rant by describing what he believes are the stakes involved with the two engaging in fisticuffs, and how it is ultimately a positive thing for everyone. “And what’s crazy is, I feel like you gotta win the fight,” he said. “So in order to win the fight, what you gotta do? You gotta train your body, right? So you getting your body right, so you getting back in shape, you getting your sh*t together, right? So at the end of the day, it’s a win-win for everybody. And I’ll do that just so this ni**a can [get back healthy].”

Ray J then shifted his rant to discuss Kodak Black’s behavior at Donald Trump’s “home,” though he misspoke and truly meant the former United States President’s Mar-a-Lago resort. The “I Hit It First” artist claimed to have footage of what the “Super Gremlin” rapper was doing during their visit to Trump but stated that he needed approval from Pastor Darrell Scott before he could post it anywhere. “It ain’t nothing bad,” the father of two said. “It’s just like a ni**a stunting and sh*t, just doing the most.”

Footage resurfaced of the two attending the dinner in March 2022, but there wasn’t anything bad on Kodak’s behalf in this particular video. Evidently, per a report from Page Six, Ray J brought him there as his plus-one to introduce him to Trump after the controversial businessman helped to pardon his prison sentence in one of his final acts in office.

This tense exchange of words was sparked by Ray J commenting on Kodak Black’s appearance on Drink Champs where he appeared to be in an unhealthy state of mind, slurring words and displaying odd behavior.

“Yo somebody need to grab bro and make sure he good,” Ray J wrote in the comments of one of DJ Akademiks’ posts. “This ain’t the interview N.O.R.E. We gotta help this dude. I took him to Trump house and he did the most. They were not happy with the experience bc he had no guidance and respect. Yo @wack100 let’s figure out how we can help this guy instead of watching him self destruct.”

Kodak Black was not pleased with Ray J’s comment, especially the reference to Donald Trump, and addressed the singer in an Instagram Live on Sunday (Oct. 29).

“Ray J, your little a** a bi**h, homie,” he said. “A ni**a don’t need no help, pu**y-a** bi**h. I’m skraight, dumb-a** boy. F**k wrong with you, homie? I’ll beat your little a**. You ain’t have nothing to do with that Trump sh*t… This f**k ni**a wanted to go to Mar-a-Lago. You don’t know me. I be hating that pu**y-a** sh*t. You a Boosie-a** ni**a. You wanna just go viral when a ni**a could just call a ni**a or DM a ni**a or something.”
