Ravens Calais Campbell misses second straight practice with concussion

The Cleveland Browns are in need of a big win in Week 12 against the Baltimore Ravens. The Browns season has not gone as they have hoped it would be a win this week going into their bye week could help turn the tide.

The Ravens haven’t been perfect this season with injuries and inconsistent play leading to their three losses and some difficult wins. Cleveland has a similar story but a 6-5 record.

One developing story for this week’s matchup is Baltimore’s starting defensive end Calais Campbell being in the league’s concussion protocol. Campbell has missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Unlike other injury concerns, Campbell and the team do not have a choice with his practice and game participation. The league’s concussion protocol has specifics that Campbell must meet before being cleared to practice or play.

The veteran has been a terror on the field with his 6’8′ frame. He has the ability to rush the passer, be stout against the run and even be out in coverage. With his long arms, Campbell has a knack for getting his hands on passes and take on two blockers in the run game.

We will keep you updated on all the important injuries for the big Week 12 matchup.
