Raven-Symoné is using her vision of the future with her wife as health motivation.

The 35-year-old actress and singer told E! News her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday, whom she married last year is one of the reasons behind her recednt health journey.

"We want to have a life together," the former Disney Channel star said in the Thursday published interview. "She doesn't want to take me to an early grave and I want to make sure I am there for her in the best health possible."

Symoné shared a video in May detailing her "pounds down journey" on Instagram, telling the world she had lost 28 pounds. Pearman-Maday sat right next to her as she shared the news.

The actress and TV personality revealed she started her journey after seeing "horrendous numbers" during a doctor appointment.

While she's been open about her health journey, she has also been candid on social media about not liking exercise. Symoné captured her and Pearman-Maday going on a walk on an Instagram video in June, saying, "Me and exercise don't get along, but when we do it's a quick walk."

"You're doing it baby doll, she's doing it," Pearman-Maday said in the video.

Almost a year ago Symoné used social media to announce that she tied the knot, sharing a now-deleted photo of the couple together.

"I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home," Symoné captioned the photo at the time. "I love you Mrs. Pearman-Maday! ...!!! I’s married NOW."

Symoné implied that her wedding was an intimate affair that took place during the coronavirus pandemic, following up her announcement to thank those "who helped and for those who understand why it was small during this time."

The couple celebrated their first anniversary on June 16.

"365 days ago we decided to stand with each other for the rest of our years on this planet. We promised that we would have each other backs, hold each others hearts in our hands and care for them like no one else has," Symoné wrote to commemorate the milestone. "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Mrs. Pearman-Maday."
