Pearman died at age 31 following a two-year battle with colon cancer.

Raven-Symoné is mourning the loss of her brother Blaize Pearman.

In an Instagram post thanking her fans for their birthday wishes, the actress announced that her youngest brother died last month at age 31 after a battle with colon cancer. “Last month, I lost my brother Blaize. He was battling colon cancer for about two years and he is in a better place now,” she said. “He is loved and missed and the emotions that have been weaving in and out of my body and mind and family have been a roller coaster. I love you Blaize.”

Pearman was the former Disney Channel star’s only sibling. He appeared alongside his sister and parents on a 2008 episode of Celebrity Family Feud, facing off against Wayne Newton and his family.

“Thank you [for] the all the love yesterday. It was felt beyond,” Raven wrote in her caption. “Hard to fully celebrate knowing that I’m here and he is not.”

The actress’ Cheetah Girls costars were among the commenters that expressed their sympathy on her post. “I am so sorry,” Kiely Williams wrote. “There are no words that can ease this kind of pain, but I hope you can find moments of peace and comfort in the weeks and months ahead. You and your family are in my prayers.”

“I am so sorry to hear this news Raven!” Sabrina Bryan wrote. “You were always such an awesome big sister who loved and adored her baby brother! Sending healing prayers to you and your family during this difficult time.”
