Ratings: Voice, DWTS Dip as NCAA Championship Game Draws 23 Million

NBC’s The Voice and ABC’s Dancing With the Stars both dipped as CBS’ NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament coverage delivered a slam dunk during the back half of Monday night.

The Voice drew 10 million total viewers and a 2.2 rating, dipping 6 and 8 percent week-to-week. Leading out of that, Taken (4.7 mil/0.8) was down 20 percent in the demo.

DWTS (10.5 mil/1.5) dipped 7 and 12 percent, while Quantico (3 mil/0.6) lost a tenth in the demo.

Fox’s 24: Legacy (3.2 mil/0.8) ticked down, while APB (2.6 mil/0.6) was flat.

Over on CBS, North Carolina’s 71-65 win over Gonzaga delivered 23 million viewers (per updated ratings), up 29 percent from last year’s title game coverage on Turner but well shy of the 18-year-high (28.3 mil) set in 2015 on CBS.
