Ratings: Seth Rogen’s Appearance on ‘Price is Right’ Leads CBS to Pre-Christmas Eve Win

Seth Rogen came on down to the second night of CBS’ holiday themed “Price is Right” special and it was enough for the network to capture the Monday ratings win, though most viewers were pre-occupied with preparing for Santa’s arrival this week.

CBS led the Christmas Eve Eve night in both the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demo and total viewers with an overall o.7 rating and 4.96 million total viewers. The special improved from Sunday with a 0.9 rating and 6.6 million viewers, and was the highest rated and most-watched show on Monday.

NBC edged out Fox and ABC for second on a night when neither of them aired original programming. NBC, which re-aired its “SNL” Christmas” clip special, finished with a 0.5 and 2.7 million viewers. Fox and ABC tying in the demo with a 0.4 apiece, though ABC took more viewers with 2.6 million to 1.9 million.

The CW finished with a 0.1 rating and 560,000 total viewers, airing back-to-back episodes of “Christmas Caroler Challenge” for the third straight night. Both hours drew a 0.1 in the demo, with the 8 p.m. hour getting 579,000 viewers and the 9 p.m. hour garnering 541,000 viewers.
