Ratings: MacGyver Dips With Finale

On a Good Friday when no scripted fare saw demo gains, CBS’ already-renewed MacGyver closed out its freshman run with 6.6 million total viewers and a 0.8 rating (per finals), dipping a tenth in the demo to mark a season low.

TVLine readers gave Season 1 an average grade of “B.”

Leading out of that, Hawaii Five-0 (8.5 mil/1.0) and Blue Bloods (9.4 mil/1.0) were both steady.

Topping Friday night, Shark Tank (4.4 mil/1.1) was down a tenth. Opening ABC’s line-up, The Toy Box (3.3 mil/0.7) was down 18 percent and a tenth from its opening.

THE CW | The Originals (870K/0.3) dipped, Reign (630K/0.2) was steady.
